Easy Tuna Salad

Tinned fish is your new lunch time hero. It's quick, packed with healthy fats and protein, and can easily be punched up with ingredients from the fridge. Get Gabby Phi's go-to tuna salad recipe, and make it your own!

To Grab

  • 1 can tinned oil packed tuna (we used Fishwife)
  • 1/2 red onion, finely chopped
  • 2 celery stalks, finely chopped
  • 4 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley or cilantro
  • 1 1/2 tbsp capers, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tsp lemon juice (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp cumin or paprika (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

To Do

  1. Break up tuna in a bowl. Add mayo and mix until well combined.
  2. Mix in onion, celery, mayonnaise, parsley, capers, mustard, and optional ingredients. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Make it a tuna melt, serve on salad, or with Simple Mills crackers like Gabby did here. Voila!
