Fancy Roasted Brussel Sprouts

A little fancier than the Brussel Sprouts we normally throw on our sheet pan– this recipe is made for those who like to celebrate their sides. Dressed up in goat cheese, bacon, honey, pomegranate, red pepper flakes and orange zest, these sprouts will have all your guests asking for seconds.

To Grab

  • 1 LB brussel sprouts halved
  • 3 TBSP olive oil
  • salt & pepper
  • 4 bacon slices chopped
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 pinch red pepper flakes
  • 3 TBSP apple cider vinegar
  • 2 TBSP salted butter
  • 1 TBSP orange zest
  • 4 OZ goat cheese
  • 1 cup pomegranate arils

 

To Do

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°.
  2. Toss brussel sprouts in olive oil, salt & pepper. Lay the brussels sprouts cut side down on baking pan. Sprinkle bacon. Roast for 20 to 25 min.
  3. Boil honey & crushed red pepper flakes over medium heat for 1 min in a skillet. Remove from heat. Add vinegar, butter, orange zest & salt to sauce.
  4. Serve brussel sprouts with the sauce, cheese & pomegranate.
