Easy Thanksgiving Mashed Potatoes

It wouldn't be Thanksgiving without loads of butter, and we wouldn't have it any other way when it comes to our mashed potatoes. Get the recipe for what Ann Marie's calls "arguably the best Thanksgiving side dish" below.

To Grab

  • 8 red skin potatoes (Red Creamers)
  • 1/4 cup of salt
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 6 tbsp butter

To Do

  1. Add potatoes to a pot of water with 1/4 cup of salt. Boil until tender and easily pierced by a fork.
  2.  Remove from water and add to the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a whisk attachment. Add sour cream and butter. Mix until well combined. Be careful not to over mix.
